Instructor Information

Mr. Kearney 

Owner and head instructor of Kearney's American Karate. Mr. Kearney has been studying the Martial Arts most of his life. He began teaching Martial Arts in 1994. He currently holds a 3rd Dan Black Belt in American Karate.

Mrs. Jen Pavao
Mrs. Pavao received her Black Belt in May. She is currently an Asst. Instructor and is now working toward her instructorship. Mrs. Pavao has 3children currently enrolled in our school.

Mrs. Lori Zanin
Mrs. Zanin is currently a 2nd degree black belt and has received her Asst. Instructor Certificate on 5/12/07. Mrs. Zanin has her son enrolled in our school.

Miss Erica Cadorette- Miss Cadorette is the little Dragons and Tigers Asst instructor. She has been training for 3-4yrs and holds the rank of  teen Black Belt. Erica is also part of the Demo team
Mrs Karen O'DonnelMrs O'Donnel has been training for 3-4 yrs. her husband  is a student in the school. Mrs O'Donnel holds the rank of Black Belt. She has been on staff and has been working toward her Asst. instructor for the last 2 years.

Mr Zach Barbaria
Zach  has been training for the past 4yrs he holds the rank of Teen Blk belt . Zach is a certified Asst. instructor. Zach is also part of our demo team.His 2 brothers and mom and dad are also students

Miss Sarah Buffinton
Sarah has been with our school for 8yrs she holds the rank of Teen black belt advanced level. She is a certified
Asst. Instructor.Sarah is also part of the Demo Team.

All of our instructors must earn their levels in instructorship. They must help out on the floor for at least 6 months before they are considered for Asst. Instructor. After that they must go though an intensive 10-week instructor course. From there they are allowed to begin to help teach the children and spend a year doing this before they can be certified.

Through this process we insure that all students receive the best instruction possible. All of our instructors are caring and focused people.
